Dr. Elizabeth A. Brown


From Hertford, North Carolina and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. She uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. takes a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Brown will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractor, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Dr. John R. Livingston


From Creswell, North Carolina and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Livingston served as a law enforcement officer in Elizabeth City, North Carolina for 8 years and remains a reserved officer. Having a strong background in athletics and personal training, Dr. Livingston focuses on the body's muscular system and provides specific treatment for neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Livingston's experience in personal training also sparked his interest in supplementation and nutrition. Dr. Livingston combines the very best hands-on techniques and state of the art chiropractic procedures. His ultimate goal is to assist you in accelerated healing and maintain a journey to encourage you to lead a healthier and happier life.

Melissa Godley

Office Manager

​Melissa, originally from Bath, NC currently resides in Winterville, NC. She is a graduate of University of Mount Olive, where she majored in Healthcare Management and Human Relations. With 12 years of customer service and office management experience, she is our newest member to the Washington Chiropractic Team. An avid volunteer for several non -profit organizations, she enjoys community service and giving back to charitable organizations. As an owner of an airbrush makeup business, Melissa spends weekends traveling across NC for special events and weddings. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, home improvement projects, traveling and spending time with her husband, puppy and family.


Samantha Duncan

Chiropractic Assistant

Samantha recently moved from Coronado, CA to attend Beaufort County Community College. She's finishing up her freshman year and is planning on attending Beaufort's Nursing program. She wants to eventually get her bachelors degree in nursing and currently serves as a certified chiropractic assistant. She enjoys going to the beach, four wheeling with friends, and volunteering at animal shelters.

Jewel Cook

Chiropractic Assistant

​Jewel is currently a senior at Northside High school in Pinetown, NC. She hopes to eventually attend medical school, and pursue a career as a Neurologist. Jewel enjoys singing at local restaurants and venues. She also enjoys traveling with her family, hanging out with her friends, and spending time on the water.

Paige Fye

Chiropractic Assistant

​Paige from Clinton, NC currently resides in Greenville, NC. She is a Senior at East Carolina University, majoring in psychology. After graduation, Paige plans to move back home and pursue a career in Social Work. In her spare time, Paige enjoys traveling home to spend time with her friends and family.

Adrianna Morales

Chiropractic Intern

​Adriana is a senior at Washington High School. After graduation, she plans on attending Pitt Community College where she has been accepted into the Medical Assisting Program. She is both fluent in Spanish and English. In her spare time, Adriana enjoys spending time with family, friends and doing makeup. 

Giselle Lugo

Chiropractic Intern 

Giselle is a senior at Washington High School, where she enjoys performing arts and singing in the school musicals. After graduation Giselle plans on studying as a nail tech and pursuing her artistic passions. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, family and doing makeup.
